How it works:

Load the tape into a manual or electronic dispenser.

Moisten the adhesive — the tape runs over a wet brush inside the dispenser, activating the water-based glue.

Apply and seal — press the tape onto the carton so the adhesive penetrates the fibres and forms a strong, tamper-evident bond.

Is WAT stronger than standard plastic tape?
For many businesses, WAT is the premium sealing option. It creates a strong, tamper-evident bond with corrugated cartons, which can outperform conventional plastic tape—particularly for heavier cartons, longer transit, and higher-value goods where seal integrity matters.
Do I need a dispenser?
For low volume you can start manual; for speed/consistency, a dispenser makes a big difference (especially electronic).
Which should I choose: plain or reinforced?
Plain WAT works well for most standard cartons. Reinforced WAT is best for heavier cartons, demanding transit conditions, or where you want maximum seal strength. If you’re unsure, request a sample and we’ll recommend the best option for your cartons and throughput.
Can I get printed tape?
Absolutely. Printed WAT combines branding with security — your logo or message is clearly visible, and the tape forms a fibre-tearing bond with the carton, so removal attempts are obvious. It’s ideal for higher-value shipments and brand protection.
